Gianfranco Ferré was a multi-talented man with many nicknames, and for good reason. Known as L'architetto, or "The Architect," Ferré initially entered fashion by way of architecture. His years of architecture study at Milan's Polytechnic University defined his approach towards fashion, design, and construction.
