The lotus flower is a unique and most perfect plant. It grows in the mud and rises to its glory. This photo was taken in an aquatic garden in late July. The area was filled with lotus plants in all stages of their development. Some were buds, some were in mid bloom and some were falling apart showing only their drooping petals and their "shower head" core. I was able to capture some with dragon flies that had just alighted on the morning dew of a bud. This photo comes in various standard sizes and is printed on archival paper. This flower image would liven any wall in a home or make a fantastic housewarming or wedding gift. Consider pairing this image with another from my shop to make a striking wall grouping.
