Get Ready for Trans Pride Washington, DC May 2023! After a few years away community volunteers are excited to bring to you Trans Pride Washington, DC this May! We are following in the footsteps of trailblazers like SaVanna Wanzer, founder of Trans Pride in DC, to bring you trans-centered programming where trans folx lead the way! This year's Trans Pride will take place May 19 - 20, 2023. Our full day of workshops will be Saturday, May 20 at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library located at 901 G Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001. Stay tuned for the location of our kick off event on Friday, May 19. Our goals: create space for our community elevate the voices of our community through programming and workshops make connections & network Planning has begun and we look forward to engaging community members, activists, volunteers, organizations and others committed to supporting and advocating for trans, non-binary and gender expansive folx in the metropolitan DC area. This event is free for trans, non-binary, gender expansive folx and our allies! Have accessibility needs like ASL interpreting, language interpretation, large print materials, food allergies, etc?
